CMP TECHNOLOGY'S 20TH ANNUAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT WEST 2007

San Francisco, CA – January 31, 2007 — CMP Technology, producers of
industry-defining events such as SD Best Practices, Architecture & Design
World, and Interop, today announced the program line-up for Dr. Dobb's 20th
annual Software Development West Conference & Expo (SD West 2007). Taking
place March 19 - 23 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara,
California, SD West 2007 will gather the top experts, visionaries and well-known
technology gurus from all corners of the software development world. Exhibitors
include IBM, Aladdin Knowledge Systems, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Intel,
Intuit, Research in Motion, VA Software and many other top vendors.
“As our loyal alumni have come to expect, SD West 2007 will offer in-depth

Carter, conference director of the Software Technology Group at CMP. “To
celebrate our 20th year, we’ve put together the most impressive SD West
ever! Both attendee registrations and exhibitor sign-ups have already exceeded
our expectations — just last week we had to expand the Expo floor just to keep
up with the increased demand for booth space. There is no doubt that SD West
continues to be the must-attend event for Silicon Valley’s leading developers.”
SD West features a comprehensive mix of training on the latest languages, technologies,
tools and trends. Taught by the most innovative minds in the industry, the
curriculum offers than 200 classes and tutorials in 14 technical tracks covering
Windows Vista, Ruby, Web 2.0, Java, Web Services/SOA, .NET 3.0, Modeling & Design,

Stroustrup, and Herb Sutter, the lead architect of C++/CLI; a completely revamped
Business of Software track; after-hour birds-of-a-feather gatherings; and a
multitude of other learning and networking events taking place throughout the
